Job Description:

• Sr. Production Planner Questions: • Can you describe a time when you had to resolve demand, capacity constraints, or material availability challenges? How did you approach the issue, and what was the outcome? • This role involves optimizing labor and machine resources—what methods or strategies have you used in the past to improve efficiency in production planning? • In your experience, how do you ensure the accuracy of planning parameters and material master data? What steps do you take to maintain consistency and prevent errors? Key Responsibilities • Lead the monthly Production Planning process cycle for your assigned product cells • Ensure that the network Capacity Plans and Constrained Master Production Schedules optimize labor and machine resources • Collaborate with functional teams to resolve demand, capacity constraints, and material availability issues to maintain executable production plan complaint with DPAS requirements • Ensure accurate planning parameters and material master data for parts assigned • Participate in monthly SIOP meetings to approve network production plans, present associated risks, and discuss mitigation plans with functional and business leadership. • Achieve maximum customer satisfaction and ensure working capital remains within business goals YOU MUST HAVE • 7 years of Supply Planning, Operations Planning/Scheduling, Materials Management of other Operations Planning related functional area. • 3 years of experience in Supply Chain within a manufacturing environment, defense and aerospace preferred • 5 years planning experience in SAP ERP system • Due to export restrictions this position requires United States Citizenship or United States Lawful Permanent Resident status.
