Job Description:

1st shift Entry Level Welding opportunities - must have 1 year of experience Tig welding M-Th with OT as needed on Fridays DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Skilled TIG welder with in-depth knowledge & experience welding stainless steel with tight tolerances. Performs assigned welding tasks with proficiency. Interprets mechanical drawings, including weld requirement symbols. Performs process inspection, certification, and documentation. Performs preventative maintenance on equipment as required. Finishes grinding applications using manual and power tools. Performs work in a safe manner SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Must have at least one year TIG welding experience. Able to train others on appropriate welding methods and materials. Must have experience welding stainless steel. Must be a team orientated individual with a "can-do” attitude. Experience working in a manufacturing internment is preferred. Familiar with fundamental safety practices in a manufacturing environment. Demonstrate proficiency in assigned welding techniques. Knowledge of wire and filler materials applications for various steel alloys, aluminum, and some exotic materials. Working knowledge of fixturing and weld set up parameters (amps, volts, etc.) Able to use conventional and precision measuring instruments.
