Under the supervision of the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), the
IS Director performs analytical and administrative work in the
planning, design, installation and operation of MGRMC's Information
System and related IS projects. The IS director manages the
department of information technology professionals. This includes
hiring, terminations, career development, performance objectives,
and performance reviews. The Director must maintain sufficient
technical expertise to effectively manage the IT professionals for
which the Director is responsible. The Director will influence the
success of projects within his/her domain by providing needed
resources and/or recommending alternatives. The Director will
oversee key strategic projects. The Director cultivates
relationships by developing an in-depth understanding of their
needs and ensuring that the department’s efforts are directed
towards meeting the objectives of the department. The Director will
be responsible for managing the operating plan and expenses for
