Security Administrator/AssistantPosition Summary: We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly capable Security Administrator with experience working in a classified environment to join our security team. The Security Administrator would work closely with our Director of Security on day-to-day implementation of all security and compliance measures, with an emphasis on reviewing and maintaining relevant documentation and conducting data entry.We are a small business founded in 2004 and located on the northwest side of Tucson, AZ. We specialize in active and passive optical remote-sensing, and provides expertise in all phases of project development for electro-optics and sensors.Duties and Responsibilities:? Develop, review, format, and maintain required security documents.? Conduct data entry.? Participate in internal reviews and/or Government inspections.? Assist the Director of Security in administering all security procedures as they relate to classified environment operations, including: personnel processing, marking and control of materials, security education, visitor control, destruction of classified materials, etc.? Interface professionally with company management, Government and other business customers, subcontractors, and other visitors. ? Escort visitors as needed.Minimum Qualifications:? Associate degree or High School diploma with a minimum of two years of relevant experience.? Must have an active US Government Security Clearance (current SSBI).Required Skills:? Excellent typing skills.? Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel and Word.? Self-motivation and the ability to perform tasks with minimal oversight.? Excellent oral and written communication skills and sound problem-solving skills.? High degree of professionalism and attention to detail.Job Requirements:* Processing mainframe access requests and security controls
