The dynamic company has an open position for a skilled candidate capable of effectively communicating with both the internal team and outside customers to join their fast-growing team. The Payroll Clerk's duties will include data entry, reconciliation of timecards, paycheck distribution and providing statements to various departments. This Payroll Clerk opportunity is a long-term temporary-to-full-time employment role. Major responsibilities - Contact employees via email and phone to obtain timesheet approvals - Perform clerical duties such as filing, scanning, faxing, photocopying, etc - Run and build custom reports - Compile a system of administering and distributing reports - Data entry into spreadsheets and the payroll system - Update data into spreadsheets and the payroll system - Craft and deliver training to employees on the use of proper payroll practices, including timesheet entry and online methods of accessing pay statementsJob Requirements:- Previous payroll experience - Ability to easily learn new systems - QuickBooks experience required - Observant, accurate and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment - Prior knowledge in Payroll software - Excellent data entry skills - Sound written and verbal communication skills - Excellent organizational and multitasking skillsAccountemps, a Robert Half Company, matches skilled accounting and finance professionals with remote or on-site jobs on a temporary and temporary-to-hire basis.
