Job Description:
The beautiful mountains of southern AZ await in this unique
opportunity for someone who loves animals and knows how to care for
them. Job includes feeding animals, manure removal,
checking/cleaning/filling water tanks, safe tractor and vehicle
operation without causing damage, watching for illness or injury,
basic animal first aid, and other typical ranch duties. Part-time
to start, possibility of additional hours. Qualifications include
RECENT horse experience, ability to follow detailed care
instructions, ability to listen/read/communicate in English/use
hands and feet, lift heavy feed bags and bales of hay. Each feeding
is over 500 lbs total lifting so please be realistic about
capabilities. No smoking/drugs/heavy alcohol use. Prefer someone
with a range of skills. There is also work in the community. Bring
your RV or we may have housing. We are a peaceful place, no drama,
no nonsense. Just looking for an honest and responsible person able
to work independently. Couples are a plus, as thee is an occasional
second job that involves cleaning a rental property also.
