The DEC organization has an opening for a Senior SharePoint Online Developer. The purpose of this role is to:

• Create solutions for internal customers leveraging SharePoint Online OOTB as well as Power Apps and Power Automate
• Serve as Project Manager over SPO projects
• Perform all functions of the software development lifecycle (estimation, requirements gathering, design, develop, test, deploy, and maintenance)
• Act as a SPO SME and mentor
  Microsoft has announced the end of life of 2010 workflows. The Sr SPO Developer will play a key role in completing conversion projects using Power Automate, as well as mentoring others on their team to do the same. The Sr SPO Developer will also assist with the tracking of progress, to ensure the December 2021 deadline is met, and they will assist with the creation and publication of materials to assist with the effort. In addition to the 2010 workflow initiative, the DEC team is standing up a new M365 tenant that will use SharePoint Online hosted in the GCC High cloud environment. The Sr SPO Developer will also be part of the team responsible for supporting the users of that tenant with site creations and modifications, while also maintaining and debugging sites on the existing tenants. This person should be comfortable working with a large team (individually and as a group), able to lead without condescension, and strike a good balance between taking ownership and delegating work.
  
  US Citizenship Required: This position requires access to systems/tools that are restricted to individuals who possess US citizenship.
  
  Security Clearance Required: This position occasionally requires the ability to access classified data.
  
  Job Responsibilities:
  • Convert 2010 workflows to Power Automate, Power Apps, or out-of-the-box SharePoint
  • Create new and modify existing SharePoint sites
  • Leverage all OOTB SharePoint functionality, such as calendars and web parts
  • Develop custom site solutions using Power Apps, Power Automate, and Forms
  • Manage and complete projects
  • Teach and mentor individuals in using SPO and Power Automate
  • Lead technical discussions with stakeholder/internal customers to ensure project success
  • Work effectively with customers over the phone and via support requests submitted through help desk tickets, with the focus of timely quality service to the end users
  • Assist with troubleshooting and resolving issues with SPO as well as other on-premise tenants

    Required Skills, Knowledge, and Experience:
    • Bachelor of Science in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Cloud Computing or Mathematics or related technical field or equivalent combination of work experience
    • Minimum 5+ years' experience with the following:
    • SharePoint Development
    • Infopath
    • Workflows
    • SharePoint Designer
    • DFARS Controls
    • Experience with Power Apps and Power Automate
    • Experience working in the GCC High Microsoft cloud environment
    • Experience using REST APIs
    • Strong trouble-shooting and problem-solving skills
    • Proven record of working well in a fast-paced, swiftly-changing team environment
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities concurrently
    • Strong Customer & Service Focus
    • Experience working with diverse workforces, contractors and suppliers
    • Understanding of application controls and compliance
