Consults with nursing and medical staff regarding prescriptions,
orders, drug and pharmaceutical
detail, patient reactions, errors and complaints. Provides
prescribed medications, drugs and other pharmaceuticals. Compounds
medications according to professional standards and practices.
Conducts Drug Utilization Reviews and prepares Drug Review Criteria
for medical staff review and approval. Monitors drug therapy and
suggests alternative drug therapy as appropriate.
Pharmacist Grad performs functions under the supervision of a
Licensed Registered Pharmacist (RPH).
Interprets and clarifies written orders for all types of

Secures storage of narcotics and other controlled substances on

confidentiality, values policies and standards.

EDUCATION: Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an AACP-accredited
College of Pharmacy or Bachelor's Degree from an AACP-accredited
College of Pharmacy.
EXPERIENCE: None required.
LICENSURE OR CERTIFICATION: Current Arizona Pharmacist license
upon hire. Basic Life Support (BLS).
