DealerPolicy is looking for a Personal Lines Subject Matter Expert to join the insurance sales team who will work to support and develop our Licensed Insurance Agents.Job OverviewAs the Subject Matter Expert, you will work in conjunction with the Director of Insurance to help support and train new and current agents on our personal lines insurance team. You will provide ongoing technical training and support on DealerPolicy's new products and services. Your role will also help to identify knowledge gaps, trends and provide any additional training as needed. Being the go-to insurance expert, you must have a high level of technical insurance knowledge, be highly organized and be able to manage a variety of personalities in a remote setting.Daily and Monthly Responsibilities

  • Train and support Insurance Agents on new states and insurance carriers
  • Act as subject matter expert in DealerPolicy's product (Insurance and Dealership side) for all agents, as well as being responsible for keeping relevant on all product changes and enhancements
  • Assists Director of Insurance and Training Manager to identify additional and/or supplemental training needs for new and experienced agents
  • Deliver one-on-one training and mentoring to agents as needed to ensure employees are meeting quality standards and metrics
  • Ensure that all standard operating materials and information are accurate, current, and comprehensive in order to guarantee the technical proficiency of all agents
  • Keep accurate and detailed records of issues and questions
  • Identify learning gaps and opportunities for improvement with comprehension and development, in collaboration with the Director of Insurance
  • Responsible for staying current on all procedural, regulatory and process changes in order to properly support team
  • Guide employees to better efficiency and productivity within our workflow processesRequirements
    • Must have active property and casualty insurance License
    • 3+ years of relevant experience in property and casualty insurance industry
    • 3+ years of experience managing, or leading large teams
    • Experience in training, coaching and/or mentoring
    • Strong knowledge and grasp of property and casualty insurance fundamentals and state specific requirements
    • Strong interpersonal skills; must be able to foster positive working relationships with all members of staff
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills
    • Ability to handle confidential information
    • Strong project management and planning skills, including an ability to multi-task and prioritize
    • Must be organized and detailed oriented with the highest level of technical accuracy
    • Proficient in computer skills and systems (Word, Excel, Access PowerPoint, AMS360, Docusign)
    • Must be able to adapt to ever changing requirements within the organization
