Seeking a Neonatologist to join our NICU family in Tucson, AZ. This healthcare system is an integrated healthcare network committed to delivering Tucson and surrounding communities with high quality, accessible healthcare.

Opportunity Highlights:

3 Neonatologist Program Take call from home!
7 days at one Medical Center (with call for both facilities from home), 5 days at another with no call (daytime coverage), 9 days off!
Only work 1 out of 3 weekends!

Staffing Model: 3 Neonatologists-3.5 NNPs (NNPs at Northwest)
(level 2EQ): Care for neonates > 28 weeks, conventional ventilation, CPAP, Vapotherm, Access to pediatric subspecialists. Transfer out neurology, general surgery, CT and neurosurgery cases to nearby facilities. In house NNP for afternoons and overnight.
Well newborn service with Level 1 Nursery initially upon open, plans for growth as delivery volume increases.
Strong focus on quality metrics such as CLD, IVH, and NEC
Neos and NNPs have trusting partnership and collaborate to provide quality care together
NNPs cover nights with Neo backup
