Job Description:

Provide exceptional customer service to our patients. Building and maintaining positive working relationships with referring provider offices and insurance companies.

Responsibilities:
* Reviews upcoming provider schedules & ensure that all patients have the correct paperwork for their upcoming visit.
* Check In/Out patients, collect co-pays & past due balances.
* Update patient demographic & insurance information as needed.
* Balance cash drawer at the end of each day & reconcile payments.
* Consistently work in a positive and cooperative manner with fellow team members.
* Demonstrate flexibility to perform duties wherever volume deems it necessary.
* Comply with applicable HIPAA regulations.
* Maintain patient confidentiality as defined by state, federal and company regulations
* Other job related duties as assigned.

Conform to dress code for appropriate business attire to include conservative, modest styles, and moderation in makeup, perfume/cologne, jewelry, hairstyle and fingernails. Present professional image in dress, demeanor, and style of communication.

Required Qualifications:
* High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
* Customer Service
* Medical Terminology preferred
Preferred Experience/Qualifications:
* 1 year Medical Office experience preferred
* Knowledge of insurance carriers, authorization & referral process
* Basic knowledge of pain management procedures
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:

This is largely a sedentary role and during an 8-hour day will typically spend 80% or more sitting for continuous periods of time, viewing a PC monitor, and utilizing a computer keyboard.
