Job Description:

SOS International, LLC (SOSi) is currently seeking an Associate Security Administrator (WSMT) in Fort Huachuca, AZ. The Associate WSMT Security Administrator reports to the reports to the WSMT Team Lead.Maintain responsibility for installing, configuring, and maintaining operating system workstations and servers, including web servers, in support of business processing requirements. Perform software installations and upgrades to operating systems and layered software packages. Schedule installations, upgrades, and maintenance in accordance with established IT policies and procedures. Monitor and tune the system to achieve optimum performance levels. Support patching and system hardening through STIG application. Develops, updates, and provides evidence for POAM maintenance and resolutions for all team controlled assets identified with an open security vulnerability requiring mitigation. Ensure workstation/server data integrity by evaluating, implementing, and managing appropriate software and hardware solutions. Facilitate data/media recoverability by coordinating a schedule of system backups and database archive operations. Support media management through internal methods and procedures or through offsite storage and retrieval services. Develop and promote standard operating procedures. Conduct routine hardware and software audits of workstations and servers to ensure compliance with established standards, policies, and configuration guidelines. Develop and maintain a comprehensive operating system hardware and software configuration database/library of all supporting documentation. Assign personnel to various projects, direct their activities, and evaluate their work. Ensure long-term requirements of systems operations and administration are included in the overall information systems planning of the organization. Maintain responsibility for the installation, maintenance, configuration, and integrity of computer software. Implement operating system enhancements that will improve the reliability and performance of the system. Follow ITIL best practices to manage tickets and processes. Develop and/or maintain SOPs, TTPs, and SmartBooks associated with current knowledge of relevant technologies as assigned.
