Chief Metallurgist



Job Summary

This role is responsible for establishing metallurgical performance targets for the site.



Responsibilities:

-Oversee and develop the Metallurgical Staff

-Prepare for opportunities or threats to the production forecast

-Report Metallurgical or any issues that arise

-Prepare data analysis and recommend operational improvement opportunities

-Oversee and assist with complex Metallurgical testing

-Predict production and make production forecasts

-Prepare technical reports

-Implement new testing equipment or protocols



Qualifications:

-Bachelor's degree in Metallurgy

-7 years of experience

-Experience leading a team
