Job Description Job Description Social Media, Content & Community Operations Specialist MakerFlo | Full-Time In-Person | Monday–Friday | 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Tuesday work till 6:15pm) MakerFlo is looking for a highly organized, proactive, and creative team member to join our growing content and community team. This role blends influencer coordination, social media management, live event scheduling & support, and product testing collaboration into one dynamic position that feeds our branding. If you love working behind the scenes to keep content flowing, enabling influencers & affiliates, and communities engaged — this role is for you. Position Overview: The Social Media, Content & Community Operations Specialist supports our Head of Social & Content by managing social media channels & communications, influencer/affiliate operations, scheduling & assisting with lives and podcasts, and coordinating product testing and laser settings with our community. This is a full-time, in-person role, Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM. (Tuesday till 6pm) Key Responsibilities Social Media Management Manage DMs and messages across Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok Schedule posts, stories, and announcements Approve influencer posts Work with our Content Creators to gather and post content consistently Contribute to the creative process on what our brand needs and what's trending Understanding data analytics to see what's moving the needle Influencer & Affiliate Management Maintain relationships with current influencers Coordinate influencer packages and enter orders into Shopify Hold influencers accountable to agreed-upon content timelines Identify and reach out to new influencer opportunities Community & Product Testing Coordinate laser settings collection from influencers and community members Send products to testers and track results Work with internal team to ensure updated settings are posted to website Support new product and equipment testing initiatives Lives & Podcast Coordination Schedule weekly lives Create thumbnails and promotional assets Coordinate guest influencers for live sessions Work with internal team to manage email reminders and links Schedule and promote podcast episodes Content & Production Support Assist with recordings and video shoots as needed Support live events and podcast recordings Capture additional short-form content around the shop when needed What We’re Looking For: Highly organized and detail-oriented Strong written communication skills Comfortable managing multiple moving parts Self-starter who follows through without constant reminders but also a team player Professional and confident when communicating with influencers Familiarity with social media platforms (IG, FB, TikTok) Experience with Shopify or similar platforms is a plus Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment Any experience in laser engraving or maker industry is a plus Bi-Lingual Spanish Speaking is Preferred Success in This Role Looks Like: Influencers consistently delivering content on time Social platforms running smoothly with no gaps in communication Lives and podcasts well-organized and promoted Laser settings and product testing properly documented and shared Strong collaboration with the content and social team Growth in our social platforms Why Join MakerFlo?
