Job Description:

Johns Manville is currently seeking qualified applicants for the position of Plant Financial Analyst to be located in Tucson, AZ. The Plant Analyst will be responsible for various cost accounting and analysis functions in this plant. This person will be a high potential, high impact member of the management team within a continuous process improvement environment. Applicants can expect to make between $65,000 to $88,000 upon hire. Pay within this range will vary based upon relevant experience, skills, and education among other factors. In addition, this position is eligible for a target incentive bonus under our variable incentive plan. Your Day-to-Day: * Ensure financial controls and routines are followed in a manufacturing facility * Create and improve financial processes and procedures for plant operations. * Complete monthly closing process to accurately reflect operational performance * Complete necessary financial and management reporting requirements that communicates results, helps identify key issues, and drives continuous improvement * Complete monthly forecasts to accurately reflect business direction * Perform financial and strategic analysis to enable accurate business decisions and/or investments * Identify and drive cost reduction and working capital opportunities * Reconcile Balance Sheet accounts monthly * Lead in the development of annual operating plan * Lead in the development of plant BOM's, routings and standards * Other duties as assigned. What You Bring to the Team: * Bachelor's degree with a minimum 3 years of finance/accounting experience. Manufacturing expereince preferred. * Experience with cost accounting (standard costing), budgeting, forecasting, and month-end/year-end close activities * Proficient in Microsoft Excel [formulas, V-Lookups, Pivot tables), Word, PowerPoint, Outlook * Demonstrated analytical abilities * Working knowledge of SAP or ERP systems preferred * Operating with integrity at all times, in all situations * Self-motivated / able to work in an unstructured environment * Strong verbal and written communication skills * Ability to interface at all levels of the organization, both internally and externally * Relentless pursuit of operational and professional excellence JM has a long history of sustainable efforts and strives to continually improve our sustainability practices through a focus on innovation, productivity and leadership that ensures we meet the needs of current stakeholders without sacrificing the needs of future generations.
