We are seeking a motivated Electrical Engineer to join our team in Tucson, AZ. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, integrating, and testing a wide range of electronic equipment, including advanced imaging systems, LIDAR equipment, SONAR systems, and motion control/pointing solutions. You will be involved in developing circuitry for electronic subsystems that support high-bandwidth, multi-channel electro-optic sensors and ensuring successful integration and testing to meet system requirements. Working closely with multidisciplinary teams, you will play a key role in building and integrating complex electro-optic systems. This is an exempt, non-supervisory, full-time role based in our Tucson, AZ office.
Develop detailed designs of circuit card and system electronics, including schematics, component selection, and layout requirements.
Perform or assist with the layout of circuit cards and collaborate with vendors for fabrication and assembly.
Lead the integration and testing of electronic subsystems to ensure they meet performance requirements.
Provide project engineering leadership, ensuring that complex projects progress smoothly by solving issues and anticipating problems before they arise.

Qualities We Look For
3+ years Electrical Engineering experience with BS/BA in Computer/Electronic Engineering or equivalent
- Hands on experience designing electronic circuitry and circuit card assemblies. Demonstrated track record with high performance digital systems
- Ability to produce professional documentation and presentations with Microsoft Office products
- Ability to obtain a security clearance

5+ years Electrical Engineering experience with BS/BA in Computer/Electronic Engineering
- Software programming skills such as C/C++, Python, Matlab
- Current security clearance
