The ideal candidate will join our dynamic team in a pivotal role dedicated to conducting microbiological tests and analyses to provide crucial data for diagnosing, treating, and preventing diseases. This role is essential in facilitating patient care by ensuring accurate and timely lab results under the collaboration framework of Banner Health and Quest Diagnostics. Perform routine and specialized microbiological tests and procedures with precision. Prepare samples for analysis and maintain documentation of the same for traceability. Ensure the calibration and maintenance of lab equipment to uphold quality standards. Participate in quality control, quality assurance, and equipment maintenance activities. Adhere strictly to lab protocols and health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. Proficiency in microbiological testing and laboratory practices. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Ability to operate and troubleshoot laboratory equipment. Effective communication skills for reporting findings. Capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously and meeting tight deadlines.
